In 2020, the rise and spread of COVID-19 unfortunately impacted the wedding industry and the hundreds of thousands of small businesses who bring weddings to life every day. However, wedding vendors worldwide continued to guide their couples through wedding planning and the challenges of the global pandemic. In celebration of local wedding vendors nationwide and overseas, the 2021 WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards® recognizes the wedding professionals who excelled in supporting to-be-weds despite unprecedented challenges resulting from COVID-19.

Maui DJ Services' DJ ScottyD Achieves Silzer Master of Ceremonies Certification
The Silver Level is the intermediate level Master of Ceremonies certification and picks up where the Bronze Level leaves off. This certification expands on the Bronze training and expands those skills so that they become second nature. Vocal skills, staging, microphone technique, timing, transitions, and function will are the main focus.

The Bronze Level is the first step to becoming a true Master of Ceremonies, including the definition, duties, and elements for proper execution of those duties. The certification covers the basics of the physical, technical, and emotional aspects of of the job and puts the emcee on the path to “Mastery”.
